Feb. 12, 2002: Physics 101
Turns out we don't know everything there is to know about the physics of the universe after all. Who would have guessed?

Jan. 07, 2002: Nobody knows how they work
I found the link to this this article on Art Bell's website. After reading it, something occured to me. Perhaps one of the more frequent arguements against UFOs is simply that we have no explanation for how "Flying Saucers" could be propelled (although, our lack of understanding does not negate their existence). The late Paul Hill had some good ideas, but after reading this article, I now have to accept the possibility that perhaps even the pilots of these craft don't know how they work!

Nov. 24, 2001: UFOs in Jackson, MS
No groundbreaking information here, but this story is exemplary of how information on the subject gets out: Ordinary people see things of high strangeness and so they report it. This is human nature, and this is why information about UFOs can be supressed but not eliminated.

Nov. 14, 2001: Britian: "We no longer have our hands in the cookie jar"
Guardian Unlimited Observer article:
Spies admit it: there are no aliens out there

JC: Yeah right. The documentation on this phenomenon is tremendous. This is the surest sign they are in deeper than ever.

Sept. 04, 2001: The Mighty Circles and Glyphs
The big news over recent weeks has been the fantastic crop circles and glyphs in England. If you haven't been following this story, you're missing out on some of the best debates and analysis on the subject.

Up until this most recent round of circles and glyphs, I can understand how a person might dismiss crop circles despite their intricacy. However, these latest works are nothing short of spectacular, especially since they were completed overnight and, in one case, in the rain.

Currently, there is no clear connection between crop circles and UFOs. In fact, I find it curious that many describe the circles as hoaxes. Hoaxes of what? Yes, there have been a few people who have come forward and taken credit for some of the simplest of designs, but as of yet, the origin of the most recent highly complex designs remains unknown. Therefore, the intention of the designers is equally unknown. For this reason, calling the circles hoaxes is presumptuous.

So, we are left with a mystery that is safely intact for the time being, and while the researchers dig into this mystery, we spectators can only admire these designs as perhaps some of the most avant-garde works of art in the 20th, and now the 21st century.

Finally, jeers in the extreme to the major media for their complete lack of coverage of this recent phenomenon. Regardless of the origins of the circles, they are impressive, and clearly more newsworthy than much of the drivel that passes for mainstream.
